Video Productions is located in Osage Beach, Missouri at the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks in central Missouri. The company was started in 1991 by owners Leo Case and Scott Smith with a combined total of over 37 years in the field of broadcast. Video Production Unlimited started with a full broadcast quality AB roll studio with digital effects and Inscriber graphics on a Targa +64 board, with both S-VHS and 3/4 in formats.
In March of 1996, Video Production Unlimited added digital technology with the addition of a nonlinear suite: A Panasonic Postbox Nonlinear AV Workstation including the 3-D effects and 3-D key options, along with Panasonic's newest digital camera complete with stedi-cam capabilities. Video Production Unlimited has a video library of over 250 hours of footage from around Lake of the Ozarks: boats, boat races, bikinis, water sports, party cove, and hours of helicopter footage (courtesy of Bushwhacker Helicopter). FunCam is not a "LIVE" Online Camera; it is a series of still frames from our video library, captured with the above named equipment. The individual pictures are then cropped, reduced in size and converted from TGA/TIF format to JPEG, in Adobe Photoshop. This Slide Show of Lake of the Ozarks requires FRAMES and is designed to be viewed at 800x600 with True Color Video. Why the name FunCam? We ENJOY our work at Central Missouri's Lake of the Ozarks! FunCam is a combined effort of Video Productions and On-Demand Data, to promote Lake of the Ozarks.
Photographed entirely from the air with state-of-the art television cameras and digitally edited, OVER LAKE of the OZARKS is the first locally produced program promoting Lake of the Ozarks using advanced television technology.
